About us
Paranormal Dwarf Investigations is Kyle, aka the Paranormal Dwarf, who has been chasing the unexplained since 2020 and hosts the investigations and live streams on YouTube.
How we investigate
Most reports have an ordinary cause, and we look for it first: drafts, wiring, plumbing, old houses settling, neighbors, a camera's autofocus. What's left after that is what we're really there for.
We record everything, review it afterward, and tell you plainly what we found and what we didn't. If we can't explain something, we'll say so. If we can, we'll show you why.
A lot of our investigations happen on live streams, so viewers see the work as it happens, including the quiet stretches where nothing does.
On the channel
The YouTube channel is a library of more than 70 videos on unsolved mysteries: suspicious deaths, disappearances, battlefields, haunted houses and disasters. Gettysburg, Amelia Earhart, the Sallie House, the Baskerville disaster, the death of Edgar Allan Poe, the disappearance of Tara Calico, Cresson Sanatorium and the Hinsdale House are just some of the cases Kyle has dug into.
Every week he goes live on Paranormal Vortex, co-hosted with Moving in the Shadows Paranormal, talking with investigators, psychics and podcasters from across the field.
The gear
We use a mix of standard equipment, including audio recorders, cameras and EMF meters, along with gear that's built and modified in-house for the kind of work we do.
